Version in G major for Mezzo or Baritone. Possibly a English version of Marcolini's arrangement of this piece (see below!) as a song with texts in French and German- making Marcolini the arranger, Dole the English translator?) (At least, the text incipit of the German version of the text is the same. Conceivably closely based on the 1887 Hainauer score with new English text, but guessing more likely a new Schirmer edition.)

Polish text added by hand. The piece was also later arranged as a song for male voice choir and strings, with different words. (Are the words themselves anonymous/folk in origin, or was Marcolini both librettist and translator (into French from German)?)
