Alan Walker's list of concerts conducted by Franz Liszt, in his Franz Liszt: the Weimar Years, 1848-61, includes a performance, composer as violinist, of the Hungarian concerto on 3 October 1853 in Karlsruhe (first day of the Karlsruhe Music Festival of that year). (Page 288 of the Cornell University Press softcover edition.) It is not noted as a premiere performance (no asterisk in the text)- so at least it is not known to be one. The work may have been performed before that date.
According to Wikipedia this however was actually the Violin Concerto No.1, Op.3. Corrected accordingly. - ES
