  • This is Bruckner's second setting of the Tantum ergo (end of 1845 or perhaps 1846?, according to the Bruckner Gesamtausgabe, Band XXI, No. 8). Bruckner's first setting of the Tantum ergo Tantum ergo, WAB 32, was composed in the fall of 1845. Bruckner's next settings are the 4 Tantum ergo, WAB 41 (1846, revised 1888), Tantum ergo, WAB 42 (1846, revised 1888) and Tantum ergo, WAB 44 (1854 ca.).
    NB: The score of the Bruckner Gesamtausgabe is different in a few details from the here provided score.
