History

This series, one of many Bibliotheke, started in about 1900. The items were a mixture of original works, and arrangements mainly by Friedrich Hermann.
The violin and piano list was divided into eight sections:

1 Concertos and Concertinos (Konzertstücke)
2 Sonatas and Sonatinas
3 Dances and Marches
4 Symphonies Overtures and Orchestral Pieces
5 Variations Rondos and Scheros
6 Phantasies and Suites
7 Caprices Nocturnes Romances and Seranades
8 Smaller recital pieces (Kleinere Vortragsstücke)
