- Actually Violin Sonata No.1 ; a second sonata in G major followed in 1910 (and a third in A minor later - the last published from manuscript only in 1996, see WorldCat.) (There are recordings of a movement from his 2nd sonata, arranged. The entire 2nd violin sonata, actually, was recorded with Fryklöf's Sonata alla leggenda on LP -see WorldCat.)
- Recorded (on a 2013 cpo CD) as "Violin Sonata, Op.1". This may be a typo (or a later addition.)- Schissel
HMB often reports things later than their actual publication date, so it's worth checking Scandinavian publications (which list dates closer to the earlier date of publication for Scandinavian publications, sometimes) for this work.
