Navigation etc.
Apparently Victor Aubert wrote a play in 1910 entitled "The Harp at Midnight". This piano work was the title song of it, but not created by him, but by Silas Gamaliel Pratt, pseudonym V.B. Aubert.
"The Harp at Midnight" play is based on a story that came around in Ireland in the 19th century. It is a mystical love story, as the tone of the music suggests. Even a book written in 1961 was based off the play.
- Er... not created by him? V.B. Aubert -- Victor (B.) Aubert (Also, LoC has this work by V.B.Aubert = Pratt (arr. for pf4h by Henry Maylath) at LoC, published 1882 by Ditson also.) - Schissel
