Extra Information A beautiful little ditty about a Cockney who grew up in Peckham, but however became a millionaire through house-building and shopkeeping. He reminiscences about his boyhood days in Peckham, a longing nostalgia for days of yore. One of the last songs Grossmith wrote before retiring. Whilst technically not the last song Grossmith wrote, this was the last song published. The perfect swan song for Grossmith!
