Navigation etc.

Intermediate level pieces, but they are not arranged in progressive order
Vols 6 and 7 were arranged by Gustav Hollaender (1855-1915)
Volume 8 was arranged by Michael Press (1872-1938), vol 9 by Fabian Rehfeld, and 10 to 12 by Ernst Riege (1885-1976).
The cello version piano score includes a violin stave, notating the cello part an octave higher than sounding. Thus it can be used by a violinist if necessary.
Since some of the pieces (for example Nos. 28 and 30) are in different keys in the violin and cello versions, a separate piano score is needed for performances with the violin.

For similar pieces (composed 1700-1820) in slightly easier arrangements, see Moffat's 12 Violinstücke Klassischer Meister, Op.43, Les Vieux Maîtres du Violon and Alte Meister für Junge Spieler.
