History

E. Julius Pickenhahn was an engraving firm that operated in Leipzig, Germany (state of Saxony) in the late nineteenth century. Among its clients were the music publishers Aibl, E.W. Fritzsch, and C.F.W. Siegel.

Another, possibly related, firm was the engraving and printing business of J.C.F. Pickenhahn & Sohn located in nearby Chemnitz. It published the local town directory for many years. The address could also be in nearby Glauchau.
