The "G" number, by the way, is derived from the catalogue of Boccherini's works prepared by Yves Gérard in 1969. If opus numbers are given, they follow Boccherini's autograph catalogue. They are very often different from the opus numbers under which these works were published.

Cello and Basso (probably a 2nd Cello) or 2 Cellos

The Sonatas are not mentioned in Boccherini's autograph catalogue and can not be dated precisely, but most of them are probably authentic early works (until c.1770). The basso part is not ciphered and probably intended for a second string instrument (e.g. a second cello).
