Navigation etc.
From Philip Hale's extensive notes to the January 27/28 1911 Boston premiere (conducted by Max Fiedler) , was first? performed in Berlin October 24 1910. (These notes also contain premiere dates for a large number of other Gernsheim compositions, as far as were obtainable by Mr. Hale at the time, and seem fairly useful within their limitations; linked to on the category page.)
There is an article on Zu einem Drama by Carl Fuchs in NZM, 79 Jahrg., pp.283-86, 16 May 1912 issue. (Seems to claim that the premiere was in Dortmund in October 1910 though.) The October 24 1910 performance in Berlin is also certified to in the December 1, 1910 "Foreign Notes" section in The Musical Times (p.804).
In the one existing (as of 2019) recording, lasts 18 minutes. (NML-via-IMSLP gives access to a recording with only a 4 minute excerpt from a CD of excerpts, unfortunately.)
