Navigation etc.
This was Wenzel's most popular work, which was first published by Fr. Portius of Leipzig in 1894 and remained in print for 50 years. Abbazia (now Opatija in Croatia) was a fashionable resort on the Adriatic, accessible from 1873 by train (Südbahn) from Vienna.
NLA's information page mistakes the insert (Angelus by Morel)'s copyright for the copyright of the actual work, and gives "©1920", which seems inaccurate.
Incidentally, Catalog of Copyright Entries for 1905 notes publications by Theodore Presser of this work in arrangements for voice and piano, for male voice choir a cappella, and for mixed voice choir a cappella, all dated July 17 1905.
