The choral parts are written in choral clefs - soprano as Canto in soprano (C1) clef should be pointed out here. If composed ca.1840 the listing of the bass instrumental part as 'violone' on the title page seems an anachronism (unless this - and perhaps use of the C1 clef?- was/were common in church music at the time.) Piece seems somewhat archaistic in intention overall from score.
BSB also has another Te Deum, 'ex Dis' (in D? Dis generally means D major in that time and circumstance - there is a story there - but can mean E♭ major or- not quite the same thing- D♯ major as well) - but without checking not sure of relative dates and also not sure how many Schmid wrote, so not numbering this one.
