Opus 20 was published in 1867, opus 23 in 1870; there is no sign offhand of opus 22 being published (during his lifetime) (my source is a scanned manuscript, as with the rest of these so far, though some of them may have been published. In any case composition in 1879 would require after 1870 :)... It does not seem to be among the works of Pappalardo’s to have received its first publication in the 2000s, near as I can tell, like the Magnificat also of 1879 may be.) (Correction: no, that does seem to be the case... - ES, edit, 2015)
