Published not later than 1910. (Mentioned in Meyer's Führer durch die Violinliteratur at that date.) note: Since 9268 is the Edition number, not the plate number, 1910 seems rather more likely than 1890 from the plate table.

Something seems wrong here. Mellon died in 1867, when Baxter was 12... But a Worldcat search suggests another musician of the same name active until 1904, unless those were republications.
