Searching for the first appearance of the publication is maybe complicated by the pun, created by the fact that the work's (and I presume one of the composer's regular) publisher(s) Janet & Cotelle was located "au Mont-d'Or , rue Saint -Honoré" in the 1820s. I assume this was a deliberate pun, or hommage, or... - Schissel

(Also , a search reveals "Souvenirs du Mont d'or" by Delorieux , engravings, produced no later than 1832 - whether these existed before , were inspired by, were produced by the same independent idea as the (correlation, not causation, ...) the Brod... - well, no idea as of 7/2018...

A survey by Marie-Noëlle Colette (La Musique à Paris, 1983) gives date "1831" for Brod's work, but an article by Fétis about a concert of Brod's music in January 1829 in Revue musicale mentions this work, so composed by 1829 certainly...
