Conducted by Max Bruch in the premiere or an early performance (she was a student of Bruch at the A. Hochschule für Musik at the time, 1905. See Chronik der... Akademie (her cello ballade ("Lize Kuyper:...") is mentioned elsewhere in the volume) which also mentions, e.g. Waghalter among Gernsheim's students at the Hochschule.)
