Extra Information The Royal Theatre commissioned Nielsen to compose music for a gala concert celebrating a visit from the Faroe Islands. Originally, the concert was planned to take place in January 1927, but the event was postponed until November. Nielsen waited with the completion of the music, and the score was first finished on 6 November.
