This may be the string quartet Koechlin was referring to (see category discussion; see Écrits) (premiered 5 June 1913 @ SMI) unless Royer composed more than one other? Royer is described as a student of Vincent d' Indy and of Auguste Sérieyx.

Another source gives both his quartets (the other listed is titled "Pour les fêtes de mai" ) dates of 1918 but both may be estimated publication dates.
