This quintet has been recorded on the Idyllium label, in a 2009(?) recording coupled with his suites Opp. 33 and 34.

It is mentioned among Alessandro Longo's works as early as 1887 (Il Teatro illustrato e la musica popolare, Giugno 1887 issue) (assuming he only wrote one work for this combination of instruments?).
