Martin Cohen of Regensburg, Bavaria was active from 1891. Like other publishers in the city, such as Coppenrath and Pustet, it published many works for use in Catholic church services, by composers such as Carolus Cohen, L. Hoffmann and Obersteiner. In addition the catalog contained many light piano pieces by composers such as Smallwood, Schiele, and Weinmann. There were also a number of violin pieces by Beazley, J.C. Brown, Lonsdale, Polonaski and Dancla. One unusual item was Hermann Ritter's Sammlung klassischer Stücke v. Bach u. Händel for viola alta and piano Monatsbericht (1896), p.276.
