Extra Information This is not the only "Ave Verum" that Gounod wrote (forgetting isomorphism of key) - see (just!) e.g. RISM 700010825, or see the worklist at the official site which lists several (composed in 1853 (pub.1854 and 1863), 1856 (pub.1857), 1861 (pub.1863), 1861 (pub.1864), 1871 (in English, pub. by Novello), 1876.) So disambiguation of the title is necessary (if anything, insufficient, but nothing to be done about that. Probably better to delete and start over than to redirect, in such cases. - Schissel
