This is probably a setting of Psalm 118. However, it survives in only a single source, BL Add. MS. 31390, untexted except for the two-word incipit.
Having said that, CPDL has a 20th C. source where the text has been added (Source: Early English Church Music, vol. 2, ed. Frank Ll. Harrison, British Academy, 1962. Notation here is a wholetone higher than the original, with time values halved. Translation, musica ficta and text underlay by John Hetland and the Renaissance Street Singers. 22 Apr 2014). It is possible, with some early works, that the text was well known and did not necessarily need to be printed in the music. CPDL classifies this as a motet. Tagged for both psalms and motets, and for both vocal and instrumental.
