Presumably from the Moulis-Gauckler-Herrenschmidt Archives, not far from Toulouse, thus justifying the purchase in Toulouse at : Les Dlles (=Demoiselles) ALQUIER Soeurs, rue de la Pomme, Toulouse, whose label was glued on top of the composer's own references. The wording of the page : "Oeuvre...." (=opus...) is left blank which indicates an eventual hand written number could be entered if the composer had decided to do so at a later stage. The same display is used for Plane's other self-published works. This being his second work (according to its plate #) the numbering of this Sonata is done by hand. None of Plane's other works in the present uploader's library bear opus numbers. The ad lib. scores for this one are unfortunately missing but may not have been purchased in the first place, as they would have been charged extra.
