Extra Information The Marines' Hymn is arranged from a duet from Act II of the 1867 version. The duet was reprinted in an English version with the title The Gendarmes' Duet by J.W. Lee (Boosey & Co. 1872), and by H.B. Farnie (1889 or before). Also known as The Two Gendarmes or The Bold Gendarmes
**The ca.1861 parts are stamped as being the 'property of Bote & Bock' and were possibly those used for the Berlin premiere, given in 1861.
