Trauermarsch published separately in B&H's Orchesterbibliothek series in 1895.

Premiere information according to 1898 December 1 (page 825) Musical Times, volume 39 (not perfectly clear whether world or local premiere is meant but seems the former is) ? -- No- that seems to be local premiere; world premiere actually 1888 August 22 in Tinel's workplace-town, Malines (now Mechelen?), Belgium. Performed in New York and in Boston in 1893. See Programmes of Concerts and Matinees, Annual Festival of the Worcester County Musical Association and also Musical Times, September 15 1888, p.723 (remarks on international journal reports of the premiere.)

Libretto published 1888 or so (by Schmid?) according to Bibliographie de Belgique.
