HMB at least does not mention "en forme de marche" on the original edition of 1855. (According to Worldcat an early edition, co-published with G. André of Philadelphia, " [Sheet music collection, v. 171, no. 23] ", does, however.)
(BSB has a copy of what seems to be this first edition or perhaps a slightly later, ca.1857 one (the Schott plate on theirs is 13692), scannable on request but not yet, I think, scanned. It does seem not to be the Rummel edition from ca.1858, though.) - Schissel
