    • According to Grove Music, most of the contents of the Harmonice Musices Odhecaton are chansons. Though they do not necessarily have words, the words to the more popular ones would have been well known and would not necessarily have needed to be printed. Accordingly, this is tagged as a chanson for voices or instruments.
