This piece is extant only in Petrucci's Motetti A, where it concludes the book. It's one of two secular pieces in the collection, the other being a setting of La Spagna. The contratenor part is a canon a 5th above the tenor (bass), starting a semibreve later.
While the original is a rondeau, the flow of the lower two parts make it impossible to perform in a normal rondeau fashion.
