History

W. Damköhler of Berlin was active from 1850 to 58, publishing mainly songs and piano by composers such as Methfessel and Conradi. Many cello works by Friedrich Dotzauer(1783—1860) and F.A. Kummer also appeared. There was Orion (Klage, Carl) a collection of vocal works edited by Klage.

HMB notes that about 5 items were published in 1881-1884. The successor company was F.E.C. Leuckart.
