Navigation etc.

  • published as "Opera Lit: F. No: II". The score is preceded immediately by "Sonata II".
  • Grove Music lists only one of the clarinet sonatas, and there are at least two known sonatas. The sonata listed in Grove Music was edited by Tuthill, and published in 1948. This is the Sonata in Bâ™. It seems reasonable that the Sonata in C would be written in a similar time period, but the exact date is unknown.

Section Listing

  1. Moderato (in keyboard part. In clarinet or violin part in an early Simrock/Falter edition: Allegro moderato)
  2. Adagio
  3. Rondo. Allegretto (in Keyboard part. Allegro in clarinet or violin part in an early Simrock/Falter edition.)
