This is not a scientifically critical edition, but an engraving made only for study purpose. The source is the manuscript BSB Mus.ms. 23151-1 from the Münchener Digitalisierungszentrum. This manuscript, dated from 1896, contains two handwritten scores (A and B) of the piece, which are 99% identical. A is more rich in dynamics, expression text, slurs and tempo indications than B (which is even lacking any pedal marking). The few measures featuring major differences in notes between A and B, are showed in an ossia staff below. A more accurate scientific edition would be very welcomed, as necessary to scrutinize more deeply the inconsistencies between A and B and their implications in a performance.
