Dedications mention two sisters (at least?); also a Valse-fantaisie opus 4 in Hofmeister published in 1853 composed by J. Comellas may have been by another J. Comellas (... a relative??) (or by the composer at age 9, but Comellas' opus numbers start again in HMB with opus 1 and 2 in March 1874- indeed opp. 1 (the Souvenir in E-flat minor) through 16 (Mazurka "Leipzig") or so seem to have been published by Schirmer and by Breitkopf in that year.) It is possible that some of the works under "Comellas, J." in LoC are by the elder/other Comellas, though it seems that they fit into the current Comellas' opus scheme...
