Extra Information | While this song has often been attributed to Giuseppe Giordani, scholar John Glen Paton proposes that it is actually by Tommaso Giordani. The Nanki Library copy is bound in a volume of publications by Tommaso Giordani, which may reinforce this notion. It has also been attributed to Handel, and more recently to Ferdinando Bertoni (1725-1813). Additional info here |
