Extra Information This Allegro originates from a "Sonata in B-flat", though it's unclear whether this is a bassoon sonata or a sonata with different instrumentation. More research is needed, since the French Wikipedia worklist does not list either the sonata or the Allegro movement. This work was used as an examination piece (Morceaux de concours) by the Conservatoire de Paris. The Conservatoire used this work in the following year(s): 1903, 1913.
