Misc. Notes From the Coutan archives. This edition mainly differs from the composer's own piano reduction in a shortening of the tutti passages so as to keep the soloist more in the limelight, one presumes. It appears L.R.Feuillard's 'Cello Method (same publisher) is still in use today at the Paris Conservatoire. His best known student was Paul Tortelier.
