  • Sofya Alexandrovna Ilyinskaya (born Svechina, 1855 - 1931), was a sister of writer Fyodor Svechin (1844-1894), and a wife of Vladimir Nikanorovich Ilyinsky (1854 - 1890), a medic and an amateur singer (baritone), whom Aleksandr Borodin introduced into the circle of "The Mighty Handful". In 1893 a book by Ilyinskaya "The confession of the formerly mentally ill" (without the author's surname and with the introduction of F. Svechin) was published in Tula.
