  • the Gigue may have been published first and then the three works later as a set - don't know. The plate of the Litolff publication suggests a date in the 1870s, while the Jurgenson publication that turns up in HMB and at Wieniawski.com dates from 1880.
    • According to Andrzej Jazdon's Catalogue entry (page 106), Jurgenson published only the Gigue. No prices on the title page for Nos. 2 & 3 may indicate that they were never edited (and probably never composed as Wieniawski died in 1880). Jazdon suggests that the Chanson polonaise sans paroles could have been an arrangement of Wieniawski's only composed song. A Rêverie was published in 1885 posthumously.
