According to Dietz, in Grove Music, "Two popular ‘arias by Durante’, which persistently appear even in modern anthologies of Italian songs, Danza, danza fanciulla and Vergin tutt’ amore, are nothing but solfeggios to which texts and elaborate piano accompaniments were added in the 19th century." It is unclear whether the original would have had an accompaniment part; in Grove's work list, some of Durante's solfeggi have continuo accompaniment, others do not. Tagged as having a continuo accompaniment for now, but this is obviously subject to correction.

"Vergin tutt' amor" (thus!) ("Vergin tutto amor" is grammatically incorrect, although Vergin tutta amor is acceptable), initially published without even a title as a wordless solfeggio (tempo Andante in D minor) with a bass continuo accompaniment in Solfeges d'Italie,1772 no.128 to which text and harmony first time anonymously appeared only in Echos d'Italie vol.6,1874. In modern form with the romantic piano accompaniment it was published by A.Parisotti (1853-1913) in Arie Antiche
