Though Grove doesn't list Lefébure-Wély's works, there is a passage in Rollin Smith's book 'Toward an authentication of the organ works of César Franck' (p.114) which describes this work performed by Lefébure-Wély himself on the organ, so it is presumed that was the original instrumentation.
