| *****COMMENTS***** = This is a set of piano variations modeled after the Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach. The Aria is the model for each of the following 30 Variations.

The piece is dedicated to the phenomenal pianist Simone Dinnerstein. I heard her perform the Goldberg Variations in Ottawa, and was so moved that I decided to compose for her a set of variations as well, and so here they are.

This piece was also composed in memory of Ralph Elsaesser, a close friend of mine who was a huge Bach enthusiast and taught me many things about Bach, as well as about life in general. His recordings of Bach can be heard here.
