Hi everyone! My name is Lee Steiner. I'm a professional tenor and have been singing in the extra chorus at the Metropolitan Opera since 2014. I studied voice at the University of Illinois and Susquehanna University and currently reside in New York City. I'm also an accompanist at Young People's Chorus of New York City and a Variable Hours Officer at Columbia University.
I've been using IMSLP, among other online archives, for years to create PDFs of operatic arias for my website The Opera Database, which I started in 2014 (I think?). My work at Columbia allows me to use quite a few resources online that have been immensely handy, and I'm hoping to give back a little by working on a few projects, as below.
Current Project: Working through the HathiTrust Library online, cleaning and uploading opera vocal scores that aren't available here yet.
