Rocha & Franco Musicalidades is a music publishing company specializing in the transcription of Braille music scores, located in Brazil. The company is recognized by the DNA-USP and DNA-Unesp seals of recognition. Its editors, Jonathan Franco Rocha and Jéssica Rocha Franco, are academic musicians who graduated from the Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) and the Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
All works published by Rocha & Franco Musicalidades strictly follow the guidelines of the New International Manual of Braille Music Notation (Braille Music Subcommittee of the World Blind Union, 1996). Some of our editions available on IMSLP are in PDF format, with Braille notation printed visually, enabling sighted teachers to instruct blind students as well anyone willing to learn the Braille musical code. Braille PDFs are thus not intended to be directly read by visually impaired individuals. These editions also have their engraving files in TXT format, allowing them to be physically embossed on paper.
