Hello! I'm R&S Archivist (RSArchivist)! I am an amateur musician, arranger, and music enthusiast.

Software This user uses Mu͒seScore Studio. This user uses Mu͒seScore 2/3.

I primarily work with piano music, including original compositions, transcriptions, and arrangements of orchestral works.

I use MuseScore for most of my notation work.

My musical interests include music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and early 20th-century periods (so basically everything the average person would call "classical music").

Languages

• English: I am from the US, so I do know English. (Duh.)

• Spanish: Basic reading comprehension; limited conversational ability.

• German: Basic reading comprehension; limited conversational ability.

Musical Ability

I have played piano for a few years, and I can sight-read some intermediate pieces.

I have composed a few pieces, including a short waltz and a theme and variations.

Projects

I am currently developing The Classical Keyboard Archive (TCKA), an independent project focused on creating and preserving editable digital scores of classical keyboard music.

I also occasionally arrange orchestral works for solo piano. I'm currently working on an arrangement of Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World".

IMSLP

I mainly use IMSLP to find historical editions, original scores, and public-domain sheet music.

I may occasionally contribute arrangements, transcriptions, or engraved scores.
