Kefas A Jannes Born in Stockholm, Sweden 1962 Studies in Music Kristoffer School, KMI and University of Stockholm.
He studied singing, music theory and harmonic analysis and improvisation. Autodidact composer and multi-instrumentalist. He has written more than 300 pieces, several of which are commissioned by theater and dance companions (both EAM and Singing/instrumental) and local choirs.
He has worked for a couple of decades as a freelance teacher in e.g. singing and vocal improvisation in Sweden and internationally. He is a dedicated improviser and singer. Kefas Berlin writes for song, solo and choir, respectively instrumental ensembles.
