The opera "Uhret" is the second of Ludolf Nielsens three operas. Although it have been not performed until today, one piece - the Romance of the organist (Bariton) - became quite popular during Ludolf Nielsens lifetime. It was performed in concerts and was also recorded for HMV in 1920. Holger Bruusgaard, a friend of Ludolf Nielsen sang the part on the record, accompained by a unknown musician at the harmonion. Perhaps Ludolf Nielsen himself?
