Misc. Notes Compare to the contents in the comment below; since the 1966 Neuhausen edition contains 10 numbered toccatas, 4 other toccatas with "(XIII)", "(XIV)" etc., 10 courantes, plus a Partita sopra La Romanesca and 2 versetti, it is obvious that this is a modern edition of the 1657 Toccate e correnti d'intavolatura d'organo e cembalo with its manuscript additions. Thus, the 4 extra toccatas, the partita and the 2 versets are considered "doubtful", and probably not by Rossi, although the other works are considered authentic.

Extra Information According to Grove Music, Rossi published only one volume of keyboard music during his life; the Toccate e correnti d'intavolatura d'organo e cembalo, an undated work published in Rome, "which comprises ten pieces in each genre". However, Grove also lists toccatas, versetti, and a partita that are considered doubtful because they were manuscript additions to the later 1657 edition of this work.
