Extra Information | Steven Millhauser presents the grelling as a fictional creature on exhibit in a museum described in the title story of a 1990 short story collection called The Barnum Museum. It might refer to the Grelling-Nelson paradox (1908), or it might not. Millhauser mentions the grelling three times in this story, so it seems appropriate that it should have a piece of bassoon music to express its imaginary characteristics and behaviors. |
