Roothaan of Amsterdam published a variety of works by Dutch composers from 1851 to 1893.
The catalog included light piano pieces but also salon pieces for violin or cello, string quartets and piano trios, and even at least one symphony (by Richard Hol, his second). The main composers were Gustav Adolf Heinze (1820—1904), Johannes van Bree, Bertelsmann and Hol.
