Usage

This is the reference version of the LOC template. It should be used for links to items at LOC which we do not have on IMSLP.

• Inputting no values for any of the variables, such as {{LOCref}}, will provide a link to the Library of Congress' Performing Arts web page.
• Variable 1 is to be used to link to scores that use a url in the following format: http://memory.loc.gov/diglib/ihas/loc.natlib.ihas.200187346/default.html. Only input the number after "ihas."
• Variable 2 is to be used to link to scores that use a permanent url in the following formats

http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.music/sm1885.14483 or http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.award/rpbaasm.0094. Only input the text after "http://hdl.loc.gov/loc."

• If a value is input for either variables 1, 2 or 3 you must input at least one character (let's use a "0" (zero)) in variable 4 in order to prevent the default url for the LOC web page being tacked onto the end of the url for the music score's page.
